FAQ

Do I need to register to attend a class?

  • Yes, you will need an account under our registration system, WellnessLiving, in order to attend our classes.

Can I walk-in or should I register online?

  • If you can, please register online. It will allow a much faster check-in process.

  • If you have trouble with online registration, please come in-person to register. Most of our classes are drop-in friendly.

What classes can I drop-in?

  • Most classes are drop-in friendly including 121, 122, 150, 220, 250 level classes.

  • Classes NOT available for drop-in: Beginner Salsa & Bachata 101/102 monthly series, other 101/102 series, and Advanced (Sensual Bachata and Mambo) 301 series (Assessment required).

Can I drop-in to Sensual 201/301 or Mambo 301?

  • No drop-in is available for Sensual 201/301 and Mambo 301 classes. Advanced classes require students to pass an Assessment. During the Assessment, students will be observed by instructors to gauge each students' dance level. Assessment happens once every 2 months after each rotation. Schedule of Assessment Day is posted on our front page news and available to register on our Wellness living system. Until you pass an assessment you will not be able to take these classes.

Dress-code

Adults: Comfortable cloth to move and potentially sweat in. Non-marking and non-slip shoes recommended. If you do not have dance shoes already then we recommend shoes with a smooth bottom sole which will allow turning and twisting easier on the ankles.

Kids: No slippers. No shorts. No dresses. Jazz or other soft sole dance shoes preferred. Dancers should feel comfortable to move in their cloth and shoes. There are moves where we will get on the floor to do movements and we would like the children’s knees to be covered to reduce injuries.

Payment

We require payment of service prior to all of our event or classes via our registration system, cash/check, venmo or credit card. Invoices can be made upon request. There is no refunds (only credits can be issued.)

Financial Aid

We offer partial financial assistance to students who demonstrate excellence, desire and commitment to dance and who require financial help.

Contact us for more information.
