BachaZouk blends the rhythm, connection, and musicality of Bachata with the fluid movement and body mechanics of Brazilian Zouk. Whether you're a Bachata dancer looking to add more flow and creativity or a Zouk dancer curious about Bachata's musicality, this immersive weekend will introduce you to the foundations that make this style so unique.
If you've always been curious about BachaZouk, this is the perfect opportunity to learn from two of the leading educators helping shape this growing movement. Their welcoming teaching style makes the material accessible while helping you build confidence, improve partner connection, and expand your movement vocabulary.
Saturday, August 15
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: BachaZouk Bootcamp (2 hours) with Chesco & Carla
4:15 PM – 5:00 PM: Guided Practica (45min)
Build a strong foundation through an immersive bootcamp designed to introduce the essential concepts, movement principles, and partner connection of BachaZouk. Stay afterward to practice what you've learned with instructor guidance.
Sunday, August 16
6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Bachata Partnerwork Fusion (1 hour) with David & Ava
7:00 PM – 8:00 PM: BachaZouk Workshop (1 hour) with Chesco & Carla
8:00 PM – 11:00 PM: Bachata B2B Social
Continue your learning by expanding on the weekend's concepts with new techniques, combinations, and musical application. After class, put your new skills into practice at our Bachata B2B Social, where you can dance, connect with the community, and practice what you have learned on the social dance floor.

About the Instructors:
Chesco Leveratto is a dedicated dance instructor and community builder based in Northern Virginia, where he works full-time at Born 2 Dance Studio. As the founder of BachaZouk, a trademarked initiative established in 2022, he set out to unite the Bachata and Brazilian Zouk communities, building inclusive spaces where dancers can connect, grow, and never have to choose between two worlds they love. Through teaching and organizing, he continues to carry that work across cities, and is excited to bring that vision to Seattle for the first time, guided by a belief that BachaZouk was never just about combining two styles. It was about giving dancers a home where both cultures are respected, celebrated, and free to thrive together.
Carla Naar is an international dance educator, performer, and choreographer based in Vancouver, Canada, specializing in Brazilian Zouk and Belly Dance. A lifelong dancer with university-level dance training, she has built her career on studying, performing, and teaching these art forms while honoring their cultural roots. Known for her clear, approachable teaching style, Carla has developed a methodology that transforms complex movement into accessible concepts, helping dancers of all levels refine their technique, deepen their musicality, and discover their own authentic expression. Through her international teaching and performances, she empowers students to build confidence, achieve technical precision, and embrace the belief that great technique and genuine connection go hand in hand—allowing them to dance with confidence, authenticity, and joy.
